I am a Christian wife of one man who loves the Lord. A Worship Leader. I am a homeschooling mother of two. I am a piece of clay, a branch, and a sheep in need of a Shepherd.
While Alaska was nothing like camping out, while it's scenes and settings and surroundings define spectacular as never seen before, this cartoon aptly describes our glad return! (Click on the caption to enlarge the view.)
It's great to be back. We kept Alaska (daylight til about 10 or 10:30) hours, so I'm the first one up...and it's 10 a.m.! Because my camera battery went on the fritz, Lisa is sending pictures from hers, and I'm also going to try to gear up the phone camera and try to do some downloading there. Wait, I haven't had coffee yet! Hold everything!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I look forward to reading more. I look forward to reading about your family, homeschooling, and what the Lord is doing in your heart.
We enjoyed amazing "Northern" Hospitatlity, Southern style, in beautiful Anchorage. We spent a few days with a family we met in San Diego a few years back, also a homeschooling brood of 5 (includes Mom & Dad.) I'm looking forward to posting pics and more details. Yes, though a fun time was had by all, we were happy to be home.
We've been doing quite a bit of running back and forth with the big kids, so I feel that way every time I have a night at home to just "be". I can so relate to that cartoon! Glad you had fun and you're safely back!

Ahhh, YES! Ruby slippers or no...there's no place like home!
Welcome Home! We've missed you!
Nothing can take the place of home.
Can't wait to see the pics.
