I am a Christian wife of one man who loves the Lord. A Worship Leader. I am a homeschooling mother of two. I am a piece of clay, a branch, and a sheep in need of a Shepherd.
Excellent article Kathy. I especially liked the part about thanking those who have influenced our lives by writing them a letter - a lost art in my opinion! The extra time taken to write something so special would surely be an appropriate gift to those who have sincerely touched our lives this past year. Thanks for passing this along.
I like the part about writing down the events that have happened the past year.
The book 'Bait of Satan' by John Beveer is and excellent book that has helped me to understand about forgiveness.
I have also watched a video about the man that was a preacher and died and was dead for three days then revived. He said he was shown hell and told that is where he would have spent eternity because he had gotten in a fight with his wife and wouldn't forgive her. His wife is the one that prayed for three days for him to live. That has stuck with me about being forgiving of others quickly.

Gina, I agree with you. My Dad still writes us letters, and I would do well to continue his good habits of showing honor and gratitude. Blessings!
