Better Now

For those who know me, I'm better now. As it is now, my head in a towel, everyone else in temporary slumber, I say "yes" to the now of the Lord. Able to sustain us? Yes. Merciful toward our weak hearts? Yes, He is. His Heavenly Father-ly responses to our earthy, mortal moments...I'm graced in an amazing awareness of His patience and love. When I see Him as He is I am reminded of how unnecessarily we waste our time in woe over the temporary cares of this world. Thank you Father for Your great and enduring love and grace.

There's just something about washing your hair...It has always been for me an all time fix for chasing the clouds away...I think just maybe when we aren't singing in the shower...we get to hear God singing over us...*: )

I think you hit the nail on the head Nancy. I think my 4:30 a.m. wakeup was His intention, and I had 3 hours of quiet before another sound was even heard in this house. Mmmm good!

Sniff sniff!

I'm not going to mention the fact that the fact that nobody gets up until 7:30 kills me to the core...

Kristi, I thought about you as I doaled out that slight morsel of info. It beats the mid-night calls from the blue room I've been having the last couple of nights. And yes, I'm hoping it'll take him (youngest) a couple of days to catch up on lost sleep! :)

Glad you are feeling better Kathy! My kid's have a knack of waking shortly after I do, no matter how early. Sounds like it was a great morning...

Yes, unfortunately their timing can be amazing, huh. Funny though, because when I get that knot in my stomach that quiet is getting ready to end - and then I see their (usually) smiling faces... everything's alright! Hug the young ones for us, Liz.

So true Kathy! There's that optimism Danny was talking about! Hug yours for me too. Christian has been missing Daniel so much lately and wants to know when we can come over and stay til midnight again:)
