My 5-Minute Tomato Soup Recipe


With our cooler Phoenix temperatures today, we took a hankering for some Tomato Soup to go with our cheese sandwiches....."if I have some," I added.

We're Campbell's Tomato Soup fans at our house, but today was the day there was none in the pantry. Here's my remedy, or my recipe, I should say. That said, I would like a link to your favorite tomato soup recipe. Happy tasting!

1 sm can Tomato Paste
1 1/2 C. Water
1 can diced Tomatoes
3 personal size cans of V-8 juice
A dash of garlic salt

Serves: 1 hungry Mom and her two children!

I've never made homemade tomato soup before, just had the Campbells. This looks easy and good!

The children's Grandma in Montana makes the b e s t homemade tomato soup on the planet, and.....well, I don't quite have her touch. But I still enjoyed making our soup today. Next time, I'll try another recipe! : )

I dried a bunch of the tomatoes picked from our garden this summer, but have yet to try to make them into soup. At present we are having unseasonably warm weather and I am growing another tomato crop and dreaming about winter soup...*: ) MMMMMM!
