Smoke.....Bombs Big Time!!!

I won't go in to the details, but trust me in that this picture of a really cute fella, a.k.a. my husband, and the title are related. It has to do with bees, the honey kind I think. Well, anyway, it didn't work, I won't name names or brand names, but the bees are still there (hovering in a nagging sort of way near an outdoor drain pipe), and our laundry room doesn't smell like Downy Fabric Softner anymore. Sensing my sorrow and observing my demeanor my two beloved youngers thought that presenting me with these flowers would surely do the trick. In one of our "lighter" moments today (pun IS related to the title) I decided to have my "attemptor in bee extermination" hold this beautiful bouquet. (I was secretly wishing that Mickey and Susan of Penless Writer fame lived close by so that Mickey could add to his collection of bees.) Susan, is Mickey afraid to fly?

Like I said on Dan's blog...the only thing missing from this picture are the 3 cigarettes hanging out of his mouth! Funny story--hope your luandry room gets back its detergent smell quick!

Susan, I was shouldering a heavy load of shock as this was all happening. : ) The camera was.....somewhere, but., anyway like I said on Danny's-pretty much just the memories. We know how to make those around here! : ) Danny and I were laughing as we went to sleep last night just remembering the whole thing.

That's so sweet of them to bring you flowers! I'm still laughing over both of your posts. Wish I could have been a bee on the wall at your house yesterday!

I dunno Liz! The bees are suffering from a major smoke/wasp spray poison-type hangover this morning. Yeh, it was quite the moment-quite the memory. Everything you can imagine is exactly what happened.

Brenda, I've missed you. Glad you enjoyed the crazy story. For the real deal, hop on over to Danny's blog (bee exterminator link). It's a great story!

Oh my! That is pretty funny...I read Dan's post too and the two of you paint quite a picture. We had a similiar experience last summer. Hope you get it taken care of ...and that Dan can beat his new found addiction!

Yeh, that's all we need Gina! : ) Oh, it was too funny. I think it's going to be a few days before I'll have anything worth blogging about-I'm hoping this one takes the cake. You'll have to pass your story on sometime-i'd love to hear it!
