The Happiest Patient I Know

Here's Bethany. Bethany is occupying the land! She came down with a substantial fever last night, and so today it's home from our Park Day with our homeschool group to recover which includes the following: drinking hot cocoa, eating toasted English Muffins somewhere else besides the kitchen table, cuddling under our favorite blanket, resting happily and comfortably on the couch, and reading her book(s) of choice, today's being "Helen Keller." (Alexander Graham Bell's story is waiting in the wings.)

Extra loving goes a long way when someone isn't feeling good, and we'll see to it that Bethany receives plenty of extra! Hold everything, this smiling patient has requested a glass of milk.

I'm sure she gets tender, love and care all the time. We toured Alexander Grahams Bell estate when we were in Nova Scotia. His story is so very interesting. He is known for the telephone but his work was so much more than that. I won't spoil the story :o)

Susan, we have a great audio series we listen to, and recently heard A.G. Bell's amazing story. We look forward to reading more about him, and yes....plenty of love to go around at this house. I just had to post her picture! : )

I'll be praying for Bethany along with 'Walking On Sunshine's" son Michael.

Thank you so much for your prayers for my son. He is doing much better. Sorry your little one isn't feeling well either. Awful when they're sick.

I'm sure she's feeling better by now, must've been the hot cocoa?! And the comforting mama!
One of the reasons why I love being a SAHM. I'm so grateful!
